The beautifully restored traditional stone house is situated between the lower and upper part of the village, overlooking a small cliff. It is therefore a five minute walk to the beach and the village shops and restaurants, but also offers privacy. Entering the garden door immediately gives one a sense of quiet and calmness – photos
The house can sleep twelve adults and two children. All rooms are spacious and comfortable. There are two large en suite double (or twin) bedrooms, a large en suite room with two twins and a small double bed in the mezzanine, the old living room that has been converted into a twin bedroom with direct access to the common bathroom, and one more small twin bedroom. The two upper bedrooms both have verandas with spectacular sea views.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, cooker, dishwasher and washing machine, and there is also a comfortable rustic dining room. Although who would want to sit inside for a meal when there is a large table outside and abundant shade offered by the olive tree on the front patio!

The front garden is also in line with the landscape, featuring local ferns, flowers, and trees. At the back, our own small olive grove, with a wooden bench and hammock offers another peaceful resting spot. But the best time to sit at the terrace, after one has absorbed enough sunlight for a day, is at dusk, to admire the panorama of the sun setting behind the mountains that taints the sea with a magical combination of colours.
As for accomodation for the yoga holidays, when numbers exceed the house’s capacity, accomodation is arranged in rooms with excellent sea views just 100 m away.
Outside the organised retreats, it is possible to stay at the house, with Bed and Breakfast, plus yoga tuition or space for private practice provided! The whole house can also be rented, for group or family holidays, subject to availability. Please contact us for details.
